There are lots of considerations and decisions involved in a cruise purchase. Big, colorful brochures have traditionally been informative and captivating, allowing people to plan, dream and share the decision with others. While brochures are great at selling cruises, video is even better. We used Microsoft TAG (QR code) to connect brochure pages with related web video on your smart phone. Videos can then be shared with friends. The mobile site operates with the ease of an app. And the corresponding desktop experience lives in a custom Facebook tab, connecting with Holland America Line’s 100k+ Facebook network.
Summing it up:
a program that seamlessly integrates the paper brochure with brand video specifically created for the small screen and social sharing.The resulting click-throughs generated a (120%) increase in video views and helped increase cruise sales in 2011’s challenging economy.
